Consortium releases the report “Economical and societal framework”. The report describes the socio-economic context of the PROGRESS project; the impact of satellite systems and particularly GNSS on the European economy and society more broadly. GNSS based services are used in an ever increasing number of applications, including a large number of critical applications for positioning, navigation and timing.
