Thales Alenia Space France (TASF)

TASF is the French part of Thales Alenia Space, the European leader for satellite systems, at the forefront of orbital infrastructures and at the heart of the most high-performance satellite technologies in both civil and defence sectors. TASF is the prime contractor for the Galileo Mission System (GMS) and the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS) programmes and a major security analysis contributor for both programmes.

TASF was the technical co-ordinator of the project. It was also responsible to lead the work on the design of a generic Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) as a baseline upon which to build the PROGRESS solution and the development of innovative protective solutions which included impact analysis and reconfiguration modules within the Security Control Centre (SCC). It also contributed to testing and evaluation.
